The 4th day

God, the second I came back from retreat, I started to feel the fourth day come at me full speed. Not with that spiritual high, but the reality that is and was still there. As much of a struggle that it is, I want to continue to keep going through this will you have set for me. Help me to continue to choose you and only you. Help me to not get distracted by these temporary satisfactions, but to only seek you and your everlasting grace. God you know what’s best for me, and I know my battle is already won. I pray that you help me get there with an open heart and mind. You make all things new, and so I give myself to you, broken and hurt, trusting that in time you will mend the pieces and make me a new and better person. God I surrender myself to you, do what you want with me, and I will forever give you praise. Amen.
